El artículo muestra cómo la teoría de la guerra de Clausewitz –en particular, lo que respecta a la cuestión de la sublevación popular– se inserta en el desarrollo de las condiciones históricas y políticas de una época caracterizada por un proceso simultáneo de consolidación del Estado como principio de inteligibilidad de lo político y la conformación de un espacio nacional.
