Sumario:The Military Dictatorship in 1976 gave way to one of the worst stages of the academic and scientific field in Argentina. National universities were intervened, and a series of material and symbolic terror actions were displayed from the state: research centers were dismantled, the number of students and professors was reduced, and ideological persecutions took place. The CONICET suffered from the expulsion of researchers and the concentration of directive posts in the hands of a few people. In this article we try to understand this complex scientific and academic policy focusing on an unexplored aspect: the transference of the resources for Science and Technique from the National Universities to the CONICET. We propose to analyze how the CONICET increased in structure, in human and material resources, and, at the same time, how national universities were deprived of research activities
