Sumario:The concept of e-democracy has great heuristic potential; refers to those political phenomena that occur due to the convergence between ICTs and democracy. Although the emergence of the expression is recent, it is considered that if the term is worked in a critical way, it can become a very useful analytical tool to study contemporary political phenomena. In this context, a three-level conceptualization work is carried out on this expression. The conceptual construction allows to have a tool with great abstract capacity, which helps to order, understand and explain the emergence and dynamics of countless processes under the same analytical framework.
