description The "Multiple Correspondence Analysis" (MCA), methodological resource occupied by Bourdieu and his team at an advanced level of theoretical and empirical synthesis, is a fundamental tool for the analytical construction of relational spaces. Allows positioning relationally units of analysis based on a determined set of variables, and capture graphical and analytically that multiplicity of relationships. Starting by a general reflection about the potentialities of the tool, this paper analyzes the configuration of the private university space in Argentina (1955-1983) from the MCA, which allowed determine the homology relationships and the principles of differentiation existing between institutions that make up

Permite posicionar relacionalmente unidades de análisis en función de un conjunto determinado de variables y plasmar la multiplicidad resultante tanto gráfica como analíticamente.
