En este trabajo se estudia el p roceso de fraccionamiento de la propiedad comunal de los indígenas de Colalao y Tolombón, de la provincia de Tucumán, entre 1870 y 1890 en el contexto de la avanzada azucarera, con el correspondiente desarrollo de las estructuras capitalistas.
