En el apartado inicial de este trabajo a analizaremos la disputa entablada por Draconcio a partir de la apropiación y reinserción de ciertos sintagmas de Virgilio y de Estacio, orientados a establecer la naturaleza falaz y engañosa de la profecía de Apolo en El rapto de Helena.
