| Sumario: | The purpose of this article is analyze the social hygiene visitor ´s professional feminization understanding this process in a no lineal way but built by multiples resistances and professional agency ´s process. For it, we are going to notice the tensions between the prescription of the doctor in charge of the disciplinary formation who pretend to transform the visitors into ‘angels of mercy’, ables to coerce working class women, with the professional actions of, persuasion, solidarity and complicity between women rehearsed by the visitors where they tensioned the supossed ‘weakness’ expected in their professional practice.
