O presente artigo, resultante de Mestrado em História, trata dos caminhos percorridos por cinco mulheres em duas profissões: a normalista e a bancária. Utilizando a metodologia da História Oral, a pesquisa teve como fonte entrevistas com mulheres que trocaram a profissão de professora pela carreira em bancos públicos entre as décadas de 1960 e 1980.
