El artículo presenta el relevamiento realizado con el fin de localizar los portales y repositorios que contienen datos primarios de investigación en Argentina. Para llevarlo a cabo, se consultaron directorios y registros de repositorios, tanto de datos como de publicaciones, se revisaron los repositorios incluidos en el Sistema Nacional de Repositorios Digitales y aquellos cosechados por el Sistema de Información Universitaria del Consejo Interuniversitario Nacional en su servicio SIU-BDU 2. Además, se realizaron búsquedas en el motor de búsqueda Google y se relevaron fuentes documentales sobre la temática.
