Sumario: | This work aims to investigate ruptures and continuities in curricular spaces, topics and research areas between the Instituto Tecnológico del Sur (ITS) and the National University of the South (UNS) with in the framework of a transitional political context.
The analysis suggests that the changes evident in the areas of economics and chemical engineering are due more to a gradual process of modernization of academic activity than to a rupture associated with the political situation. It is also evident that in the establishment of the first lines and research groups coexisted different rationalities ranging from an alignment with the demands of the national government to the orientation towards the socio-product problems of the region, through the previous capacities and trajectories of its academic body and institutional inertia. |
