description This article approach the creation of the Provincial University of Córdoba in a feminist view. It also investigates the feminist perspective inside this house of studies, based on the first results obtained from an exploratory-descriptive study that is still in progress as a way of approaching the experiences of extension and public communication of science in this institution. Based on this tension between a current conjuncture of strong feminist demands and what is instituted within a space of public and university education, it wonders the conditions of possibility for the decolonization of knowledge, and the disarticulation of gender and institutional inequalities in knowledge production processes.

Este trabajo reflexiona sobre la creación de la Universidad Provincial de Córdoba en clave feminista. Para ello, realiza un breve recorrido sobre la historia de esta joven institución universitaria del interior del país que, durante muchos años, fue un espacio educativo de nivel terciario. También indaga sobre la perspectiva feminista al interior de esta casa de estudios, a partir de los primeros resultados obtenidos de un estudio exploratorio-descriptivo que aún está en curso como una manera de aproximarnos a las experiencias de extensión y comunicación pública de la ciencia en esta institución.
