| description | This paper seeks to assess knowledge about child nutrition in Primary Health Care Centers, in connection with senses about the body and feeding practices of children who attend these centers. This work conducted a research on the literature on anthropology of food and childhood, together with in-depth interviews in three Health Care Centers located in the outskirts of the urban area of the city of La Plata. These focused on the discourse of the pediatricians, from a relational discursive logic, incorporating conceptions of the health personnel. Firstly, some biomedical regulatory devices of children’s bodies are discussed, with their ways of measuring, classifying and moralizing non-adult bodies, and thus providing notions about childhood. In a second moment, I analyze the links with the people in charge of their upbringing and their child rearing practices. Finally, the specific senses of the pediatricians about food and the infantile dietary practices of the people who attend the center are presented. I seek to analyze the way in which these discourses are trying to recover the specificity of pediatrics in the first level of attention. |

El presente escrito busca dimensionar saberes sobre la alimentación infantil que se dirimen en Centros de Atención Primaria de la Salud, en vinculación con sentidos sobre la corporalidad, la crianza y las prácticas alimentarias de les niñes que allí asisten. Endiálogo con lecturas provenientes de la antropología alimentaria y de estudios sobre la niñez y la infancia; se realizaron entrevistas en profundidad y registros de campo en tres Centros de Salud localizados en las afueras del casco urbano de la Ciudad de La Plata; con un enfoque principalmente en los discursos de pediatras, aunque, desde una lógica discursiva relacional, y con la incorporación de concepciones del equipo de salud. Primeramente, se retoman algunos dispositivos biomédicos regulatorios de la corporalidad infantil, con sus formas de mesurarla y clasificarla, y con ello disponer de nociones sobre la infancia. En un segundo momento y con la recuperación de estas ideaciones, se analizan los vínculos con las personas a cargo de su crianza y sus modalidades de hacerlo. Finalmente, se presentan los sentidos específicos de les pediatras sobre los alimentos y las prácticas alimentarias infantiles de las personas que asisten al Centro.
