Este trabajo busca reconstruir la vida cotidiana en cárceles de la provincia de Buenos Aires en vinculación con el género y las sexualidades. En este sentido, propone encontrar el punto de intersección de cuatro ejes fundamentales. Así, indagaremos sobre las relaciones de poder hacia el interior de la cárcel; las relaciones de género, expresadas en masculinidades y sexualidades que transitan los detenidos; la relevancia de los vínculos familiares y de afecto para los detenidos y en sus relaciones intracarcelarias; y por último la relación y el efecto que todo ello tiene hacia el interior de la cárcel.
