En este trabajo se analiza la experiencia del Grupo de Trabajo Juventud Rural de la Reunión Especializada de Agricultura Familiar del MERCOSUR entre los años 2007 y 2018 con el objetivo de reconocer las acciones promovidas en este ámbito para fortalecer la participación de los y las jóvenes rurales como líderes y lideresas de las organizaciones de la agricultura familiar de la región en vistas de fomentar su arraigo en los territorios.
