Sumario:The following work presents the contributions of the Italian feminist thinker, Silvia Federici, proposing "reading keys" for the understanding of her work. The writing context of her most famous book, Caliban and the witch (2004); the temporal distance of the events she studies; her activism and the relationship with other feminists from the second wave, are all factors that influenced her way of thinking about feminism in its particular symbiosis with Marxism. We will focus on some categories of Marxist analysis, on a "sex"-sensitive reading. The importance of intersectionality or "overdetermination" will be highlighted in this section.
