La mediación en Córdoba posee reconocimiento legal desde el año 2000 con la ley 8858, que declara de interés público provincial la utilización, promoción, difusión y desarrollo de la instancia de mediación con carácter voluntario. Sin embargo, cuando el Estado es convocado a una mesa de mediación su comportamiento varía adoptando diversas posturas y argumentaciones. El presente trabajo reseña cuáles han sido los comportamientos del Estado provincial y los Estados municipales de la provincia al ser convocados a un proceso de mediación en el Centro Judicial de Mediación de Villa María.
