In this presentation we will talk about some relevant events in the recent history of Bolivia and Chile and ask about the strategic resources of Latin America and their possible relations with some national and international political movements. América Latina es la región más inequitativa del planeta y ha atravesado en las últimas dos décadas procesos políticos que modificaron, en gran parte de los países de la región, el rol de los Estados en las pujas por distribuir la riqueza logrando niveles de equidad perdidos hace décadas o nunca logrados, según cada país. Sin embargo, gran parte de los gobiernos que encarnaban estos disímiles procesos perdieron en elecciones ejecutivas nacionales o fueron destituidos.
