What happens when racial marks are drawn as forms of domination in various spheres of social existence? The writing leads us to the visibility of collective subjects that inhabit the borders of the racially delimited, with their memories, languages and forms of social organization. Can we find there other forms of democracy that discuss the hegemony of liberal democracy? The proposed categorical fabric leads us to a hopeful answer. |

El siguiente articulo se propone generara aportes, interrogantes y herramientas para pensar la raza como eje jerarquizador de cuerpos, memorias y saberes en América Latina. Se presenta entonces un entramado de categorías: raza, movimientos indígenas y formas otras de democracia, articuladas y analizadas desde la perspectiva decolonial. ¿Qué sucede cuando las marcas raciales se trazan como formas de dominación en diversos ámbitos de la existencia social? El escrito nos conduce a la visibilización de sujetos colectivos que habitan las fronteras de lo racialmente delimitado, con sus memorias, lenguajes y formas de organización social. ¿Podemos encontrar allí formas otras de democracia que discutan la hegemonía de la democracia liberal?
