| description | ResumenIntegrando el campo de estudio de la Educación Superior, las Universidades conforman un área de investigación propia que fue consolidándose ya hace más de dos décadas sobre una idea original del destacado sociólogo y especialista en temáticas universitarias: Pedro Krostch. La autonomía universitaria constituyó, desde la emergencia de las universidades, uno de los rasgos identitarios centrales. En la historia del surgimiento de las universidades se observa la impronta otorgada a este rasgo fundante, su relación con los poderes públicos y las luchas que se libraron para recuperarla. En la actualidad su identidad ha sido alterada, identificándose más con el lenguaje de los mercados que con los de los saberes. Reflexionar en el contexto de los cien años de la Reforma Universitaria este rasgo consustancial a su propia existencia implica volver a pensar la identidad de estas, la cuestión del conocimiento, el derecho a la Universidad, los desafíos a lograr y el sentido que encierra su existencia en la actualidad. Palabras Claves: Identidad- Autonomía- Reforma Universitaria -Conocimiento mercantilizado -Derecho a la Universidad - AbstractIntegrating the field of study of Higher Education, the Universities form an area of their own research that was consolidated more than two decades ago on an original idea of the outstanding sociologist and specialist in university subjects: Pedro Krostch. University autonomy has constituted, since the emergence of universities, one of the central identity features. In the history of the emergence of universities, the imprint granted to this founding feature, its relationship with the public powers and the struggles that were fought to recover it is evidenced. Currently, its identity has been altered, identifying more with the language of the markets than with the languages of the knowledge. Reflecting on this feature inherent to its own existence, after a hundred years of the University Reform, implies rethinking its identity, the question of knowledge, the right to the University, the challenges to be achieved and the meaning of its existence in the present.Keywords: Identity- Autonomy- University Reform -Commercialized knowledge - Right to the University |
