| description | Resumen La Educación Inicial como parte del sistema educativo argentino ha atravesado innumerables debates en torno a su emergencia, sin embargo, el Jardín de Infantes sentó sus bases desde la fundación del sistema educativo, puesto en marcha por Domingo Faustino Sarmiento. En esta producción indagamos la emergencia de la educación de la infancia menor de seis años, en instituciones educativas de la ciudad de San Luis.Cabe mencionar que este trabajo forma parte de un avance de investigación al interior del PROICO 4-1214 “La formación de maestros en la provincia de San Luis, entre 1943 y 1952. Cultura, política y sociedad”, el cual se inscribe dentro del marco de una historia social de la educación, donde entendemos a lo educativo articulado con las diversas esferas de lo social, político y económico, entre otras.Abordamos el análisis de fuentes documentales, tales como: el libro histórico del primer jardín de infantes, actualmente Centro Educativo Nº 8 “Maestras Lucio Lucero” de la ciudad, circulares de dicha institución, bibliografía y diarios de la época. Es importante destacar que hemos considerado esta institución por la relevancia que cobró en cuanto a que fue la primera institución creada en la ciudad de San Luis para educar a la primera infancia. Abstract Early childhood education as part of the Argentinian education system has gone through numerous debates around its emergence. Kindergarten, however, laid its ground at the moment of the foundation of the education system set in motion by Domingo Faustino Sarmiento. In this paper we explore the emergence of early childhood education in educational institutions in the city of San Luis.It is worth mentioning that this paper is part of the research project PROICO 4-1214 “teacher training in the Province of San Luis between 1943 and 1952. Culture, Politics and Society”, which fits into the framework of a social history of education, where we understand education as intertwined with social, political and economic realities, among others.We analyzed document sources such as: the first kindergarten’s (today called Centro Educativo N°8 “Maestras Lucio Lucero”) historic book, circular letters belonging to said institution, bibliography and local newspapers of the time. We decided to focus on this institution due to its being the first early childhood education institution created in the province.Keywords: kindergarten; early childhood; normal teachers; teacher training; city of San Luis. |
