| Sumario: | Due to the major changes and challenges facing the shipbuilding industry today, it is necessary to establish and implement supply chain planning and management strategies that ensure more effective processes. The main objective of this article is focused on the sandblasting supply process in the company Corporación de Ciencia y Tecnología para el Desarrollo de la Industria Naval, Marítima y Fluvial (COTECMAR), therefore, the management model for this process will be designed as a strategy to maintain optimal inventory levels, so as to achieve increased productivity, competitiveness of the company and customer satisfaction.
