Sumario:The strategies developed by organizations are a fundamental pillar to know how they will compete in the markets and the success of business management will depend on them. It is of great importance that organizations can identify the most powerful strategies to compete efficiently in the markets. Only by establishing the right strategy can the goals and objectives of the organization be achieved. This article aims to analyze the five most important competitive strategies in the literature: Miles and Snow (1978), Porter (1980), Chandler (1971), Mintzberg (1988) and Kotler (1992). It is about finding their questions, similarities and differences and is intended to answer the importance of implementing appropriate strategies in organizations.
