description This article examines corporate social responsibility (CSR) issues arising from the sourcing of Russian-origin fertilisers in Latin American markets, despite the sanctions imposed on this country by the international community. CSR refers to the business practice of considering for the social, environmental, and ethical impacts of a company's operations and taking responsibility for those impacts. In the context of the current supply of Russian-origin fertilisers, concerns are raised re-garding to social responsibility, ethics, and transparency. In addition, the dependence and security of agricultural supply in relation to Russian fertilisers imports is examined. This study seeks to identify the challenges and implications of Russian fertilisers supply practices in Latin American markets in terms of CSR, in order to foster greater awareness of the potential issues that this could generate and promote more responsible practices in the agricultural industry.

Este articulo examina las incidencias relacionadas con la responsabilidad social corporativa (RSC) que surgen como consecuencia del abastecimiento de fertilizantes de origen ruso en los mercados latinoamericanos a pesar de las sanciones impuesta a este país por la comunidad internacional. La RSC se refiere a la práctica empresarial de tener en cuenta los impactos sociales, ambientales y éticos de las operaciones de una empresa y asumir la responsabilidad de dichos impactos. En el contexto del actual abastecimiento de fertilizantes de origen ruso, se plantean preocupaciones en relación con la responsabilidad social, la ética y la transparencia. Además, se examina la depen¬dencia y la seguridad del suministro agrícola en relación con la importación de fertilizantes rusos. Este estudio busca identificar los desafíos y las implicaciones de las prácticas de abastecimiento de fertilizantes rusos en los mercados latinoamericanos en términos de RSC, con el fin de fomentar una mayor conciencia sobre los problemas que esto podría generar y promover practicas más responsables en la industria agrícola.
