Sumario:Considering the exacerbation of the climate change in recent years, the construction sector of the country, specifically in the city of Cartagena, have become aware of their contributions in generating knowledge about the EDGE certification system, in order to build in a sustainable way, choosing innovation and reaching concrete goals in percentage reductions in public services such as water, electricity and energy stored in the materials used in construction works; thus enhancing environmental responsibility as an added value for homeowners, benefiting from savings in services; It is also an important tool in the process of agile sales and return on investment for the builder, which generates benefits in access to differential financing rates, insurance discounts, tax benefits, among others.
